Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the development of project designs from the initial conceptual stages through to execution. This role involves:Developing Project Design Requirements : Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear and concise design requirements that align with project goals and objectives.Conceptual, Functional, and Aesthetic Design Development : Lead the team in creating innovative and practical design solutions that meet both functional needs and aesthetic aspirations.Value Engineering : Implement strategies to optimize design efficiency and cost-effectiveness without compromising quality or performance.Definitive Design Documentation : Ensure all design documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and adheres to industry standards and codes.Compliance with Industry/Codal Standards : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards to ensure all designs comply with applicable regulations.Execution of Project Design : Oversee the execution phase to ensure projects are completed according to design specifications, timelines, and budgets.Team Leadership and Management : Motivate and manage a multidisciplinary team of lead engineers, modelers, design engineers, and drafters.
