Microsoft Fabric Lead or Architect (Part-time candidates are welcome)

Job Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a Microsoft Fabric Lead or Architect to join our Analytics team supporting our US-based clients. You will provide discovery, scoping, solutioning and deployment support to our clients while leading the architecture and development efforts for our existing Analytics team. We currently have ongoing projects that requires immediate support in addition to a pipeline of new clients that need to migration from legacy DWH You must have a proven track record of using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You will closely work with various client departments to understand their data needs and deliver capabilities and dashboards that drive enhanced business performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities: Leading the design and development of advanced analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. Architecting and managing Azure Data Factory pipelines to streamline data processing and integration. Developing complex Python scripts to automate data processes and enhance analytical capabilities. Spearheading the creation and maintenance of Fabric Lakehouse's, ensuring they meet the future analytics needs of . Conducting thorough data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and support business objectives. Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to define BI requirements and deliver comprehensive BI solutions. Implement data models, data flows, and data transformations to support reporting needs. Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using Microsoft Fabric. Collaborate with business and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards. Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and data visualization best practices. Stay up to date with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. Mentoring junior developers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Notebook development, Power BI, and related technologies. Experience with Databricks, ADF or Synapse would be a plus. Strong understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization principles. Proficiency in legacy platforms such as Tableau, Qlik, Fivetran, SSRS/SSIS, etc would be a plus Experience with Python and PySpark a distinct advantage Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Azure, PowerApps, and Power Automate. Knowledge of data warehousing (medallion model) concepts and ETL processes. Knowledge of Fabric / Azure license / subscription SKU's for optimal sizing / estimations for clients would be a plus. Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification. Prior consulting and/or client facing experience with superior communication skills
