Curefoods (EatFit) is a company that incubates food brands and operates state-of-the-art cloud kitchens & Dine-ins with a focus on making honest food that customers love. We aim to democratize access to good food sustainably by providing food that suits our customers' palettes and nutritional needs. Our current portfolio of brands includes EatFit, CakeZone, Sharief Bhai, Nomad Pizza, Frozen Bottle, Olio, Rolls on Wheels, Great Indian Khichdi, Home Plate, Juno's Pizza, Chaatstreet and Ovenfresh.
Role Description
Principal Accountabilities:
- Formulate strategies and drive execution towards achievement of unit objectives.
- Review the volume projections for the kitchen and devise the budgetary requirements. Ensure adherence towards the execution of the operational plans within the stipulated budgets and timelines.
- Lead the new lines / augmentation of existing lines at the unit for capacity optimization.
- Guide the team for manufacturing changes related to new SKUs.
- Review the execution of production plans on a regular basis and guide the team in resolving process bottlenecks.
- Ensure conformity to the laid down quality guidelines and ensure that key issues in quality are resolved in a timely way.
- Review the unit's performance against key indices like productivity, capacity utilization, quality, and prioritize the action areas to improve the metrics.
- Ensure a smooth and harmonious relationship with all internal and external stakeholders - employees, statutory authorities, local government bodies, etc.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operations & administration of manufacturing Unit.
- Responsible for Manufacturing unit operations, maintenance, HR, stores & purchase.
- Responsible for proper functioning of the Manufacturing, its utilization & cost reduction.
- Should have knowledge in food manufacturing processes
- Should have knowledge in cost control techniques
- Candidates with experience in food industry/ Food Manufacturing industry / QSR will be preferable
- Candidate should be able to relocate near to the unit.
- Directs all aspects of the business operations, including scheduling, manufacturing, quality assurance, and final food rating
- Control of all operational aspects including; revenue growth, profit, operations & production, quality, plant production development, health & safety, finance and compliance within assigned
- Optimally make sure that manufacturing units improve on the standard efficiencies in terms of Machine efficiencies, material yields, labor and overhead costs versus budget.
- Develop and nurture a dynamic and competent workforce through a robust performance driven culture.
- Works to ensure that the facility's financial goals are met, including monthly profitability
- Maintain food cost
- Reduce wastage by adhering to recipes and QC
- Identify ways to optimize processes that can help in reducing operational cost
Qualifications
- Experience 10-15 years preferably in kitchen management, food production, and quality control
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
- Experience in menu planning and food costing
- Certification in Food Hygiene or related field
