About the Role We are seeking an Head of Landscape department to lead our landscape design team and drive the creative vision across all landscape projects within our design center. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role for a passionate designer who can blend art, ecology, and innovation to shape large-scale urban developments whilst leading a large team. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, deep technical expertise, and proven experience leading teams through all project stages from concept and master planning to detailed design and on-site implementation. Key Responsibilities Creative Leadership: Lead the creative direction for all landscape projects, ensuring the highest design quality and innovation. Project Oversight: Oversee all phases of landscape projects, from concept design to construction documentation and site supervision. Team Management: Build, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of landscape architects, designers, and external consultants. Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting ideas, leading design reviews, and maintaining strong client relationships. Collaboration: Work closely with architecture, urban design, and interior teams to deliver cohesive, integrated design solutions. Technical Excellence: Ensure all drawings, specifications, and design packages meet regulatory and sustainability standards. Business Development: Contribute to studio growth through new business opportunities, competitions, and high-profile project bids. Quality Assurance: Maintain and elevate design standards across all landscape deliverables within the studio. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field. Minimum 15+ years of professional experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. Proven experience delivering high-profile, award-winning landscape projects. Strong conceptual and design thinking skills with an excellent design portfolio. In-depth knowledge of plant design, site systems, materials, and sustainability practices. Proficient in key design tools (AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion/Enscape, etc.). Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
