Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pottery Instructor at Life & Art Academy. The Pottery Instructor will be responsible for teaching pottery techniques such as wheel throwing, glazing, and ceramic art. The instructor will also be involved in creating and designing pottery projects, providing guidance and support to students, and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
Qualifications
Pottery, Ceramic, and Wheel Throwing skills
Experience in glazing techniques
Teaching experience in pottery or related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for art and the ability to inspire and motivate students
Ability to create and design pottery projects
Knowledge of different types of clay and their properties
Experience in conducting workshops or demonstrations
Relevant certifications or degrees in pottery or related field will be an added advantage.
