Job Title: SAP TM (Transport Management) Consultant

Job Location: Pune, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, Kolkata

Mode of working: Hybrid

Timings: 5.30 PM - 2.30 AM IST / 9.30 PM - 6.30 AM IST

Experience: 8-15 Years

Hiring: Full Time

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP TM Consultant with expertise in core SAP TM modules and strong experience in transportation planning , freight cost management , and integration with external systems . As an SAP TM Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing transportation management solutions, working with internal teams to ensure successful implementation, and supporting project initiatives across various client environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP TM Core Modules Expertise:
  • Lead transportation planning including route optimization, freight order management, and execution.
  • Manage freight settlement and cost management processes effectively.
  • Integrate SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP modules like SAP MM , SAP SD , and SAP EWM .
  • Configuration and Customization:
  • Configure transportation planning , execution, and optimization features in SAP TM.
  • Set up freight cost management configurations tailored to client needs.
  • Integration with External Systems:
  • Integrate third-party logistics providers (3PL) and carriers within the SAP TM ecosystem.
  • Manage integration with EDI , external systems, and transportation network tools.
  • Functional Expertise:
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of transportation planning processes (inbound and outbound), ensuring accurate execution, tracking, and tracing of shipments.
  • Oversee freight costing, pricing, and settlement procedures in SAP TM.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
  • Utilize SAP TM reporting tools (e.g., SAP BW , Fiori apps ) to provide insightful analytics for transportation management.
  • Generate and interpret key reports to assist stakeholders with decision-making.
  • Project Experience:
  • Engage in the full SAP TM implementation lifecycle : requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Participate in migration and upgrade projects (e.g., SAP ECC to S/4HANA ).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, procurement, sales, and IT) to ensure seamless project execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8-15 years of experience with SAP TM , with proven expertise in transportation planning, freight management, and integration with SAP and external systems.
  • Technical Skills: Strong experience in SAP TM configuration , including transportation planning, execution, freight cost management, and integration with third-party systems.
  • Project Experience: Experience in SAP TM implementation , migration, or upgrade projects.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and Fiori apps .
  • Knowledge of SAP BW for reporting and analytics.
  • Exposure to 3PL systems and EDI integration.
