The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a proven track record of managing electrical systems in a manufacturing/industrial environment.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.- Oversee installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical machinery and control systems.- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective, timely solutions.- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve plant reliability and reduce downtime.- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and maintenance schedules.- Lead and mentor junior engineers/technicians, providing technical guidance when needed.Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.- Minimum 6–7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within the manufacturing or industrial machinery sector.- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and control panels.- Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance practices.- Hands-on expertise in handling PLCs, motors, transformers, and industrial power distribution systems.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.Preferred Skills- Exposure to steel/metal/alloy manufacturing industry.- Knowledge of energy efficiency practices and cost optimization.- Familiarity with modern industrial automation systems.
