Cabling & GuidewaysControl Hardware is responsible for delivering optimized and reliable control solutions for our Wind Turbines including the functional safety. This includes the real-time communication backbone that ties all the distributed control nodes together, the real time operating system of the control nodes and the high-level functionality that control all operation in the turbine. Control Hardware is responsible for maintaining the man machine & plant interface, service functionality, sensing (wind, azimuth, yawing, tower acceleration), AUX power supply & backup.We are a team of around + engineers spread between Denmark, Portugal & India working in a highly innovative technology-centric and process significant environment.ResponsibilitiesOwnership of assigned components / products within control and auxiliary powerCreate or Update of technical purchase specifications for LV switchgear and LV cables & Control cablesCreate or Update of technical purchase specifications for Junction Boxes, socket outletsCreate and maintain Electrical documentations like panel layout, electrical diagrams etcCreate or Update Service and Installation proceduresOwnership on implementation of technologies into our turbine platformsParticipate in supplier type / routine test on LV Switchgear and LV cablesQualificationsBachelor's / Master's in Electrical / Similar engineering specialization3 to 5 Years experience in Electrical Engineering and LV Design of CablesResponsible for making a feasibility study of cable paths in wind turbineResponsible for modelling of all Cables and harness for Wind Turbine and detailing using Cero Parametric softwareResponsible for ensuring Quality of Deliverables on Time in alignment with the Vestas processAlign with Cad CAD leads and Tech leads on regular basis to understand the Scope of WorkCompetenciesExposure to EMC / EMI needs to the productField support experience including fault finding, root cause analysis and implementation of field repairExposure to International standards such as IEC, UL, etc., preferably IEC -1 Machine directivities' -5-2,EtcHands on experience on PTC Windchill PDM linkHands on experience on change management systemHands on experience on Electrical drafting tools like Eplan, Etap for CalculationsWhat We OfferWe offer an opportunity to be part of a great team in an exciting business with very comprehensive products.
