DFX Supervisor

• Profound background in VFXpostproduction and comprehensive digital postproduction proficiencyspanning all CG/asset and compositingfocuseddepartments..
• Responsible for Bidding Conceptand look development Client interaction Production planning Shotbreakdowns Working closely with artists and leads for day to daywork.
• Demonstrated creative vision with astrong sense of aesthetics encompassing mastery in blendingelements of lighting composition cinematic design andmotion.
• Proven ability to work effectivelyunder demanding production deadlines and highpressureenvironments.
• Exceptional communicationorganizational skills and financial/budget managementcompetence.
• Previous experience collaboratingwithin a global corporate structure that spans multiple timezones.
• Expertise in industrystandard softwarepackages including Maya Houdini Nuke Unreal Engine and variousrendering solutions.
• Capable of identifying anddeveloping additional production tools in collaboration withTechnical Directors (TDs).
• Proficient ininterpreting the creative vision of the Client VFX Supervisor andproviding clear consistent creative briefs to Leads andArtists.
• Advocating for consistent globaldepartmental workflows and processes while actively designing moreeffective workflows.
• Delivering the highestquality work during dailies to the VFX Supervisor and craftingstrategies for ongoing operational efficiency improvements such asdesigning more effective training tracking progress and reportingacross all teams.
• Facilitating communicationwith all departments to manageinterdependencies.
• Daytoday oversight of theShow supervision team. Resolving conflicts of workflow approachbetween the teams /theshow.

Qualifications:

• MustHave at least 12 years VFX postproductionexperience
• Previous experience as a CompSupervisor or Sequence Supervisor at senior level for a minimum of2 years
• Excellent creative eye and aestheticjudgment with ability to sell creative solutions and ideas toclients and VFX Supervisors
• Ability to reducecomplex problems to their most simplesolutions
• Expert in Maya Nuke Houdini and/orClarisse and proficient in other industry standardsoftware
