Discrete Event Simulation:
The role of Discrete Event Simulation Specialist combines knowledge about production, logistic, data and process modeling and analysis, and scenario analysis to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and provide solutions to current and future Magna production plants.
Skill Requirements:
-Strong knowledge about Operation research subject
-Plant simulation/Quest or similar tool knowledge and hands on experience
-Automotive manufacturing process knowledge
-Good communication and presentation skill.
-Industrial Engineering, Time study, Method Study Knowledge.
-Knowledge about process flows in Press shop, Weld shop, Paint shop, assembly shop would be preferred.
-Problem definition formation, flow charts preparation to define any problem.
-Strong knowledge of 2D CAD, and practical experience in line and process layout, lineside presentation
-Strong knowledge and practical experience in Discrete Event Simulation software
-Knowledge of MS Excel and programming languages (VBA, C#, or Python)
-Experience with automotive assembly processes
-Attention to detail
-Reliable, self-motivated, team player
-Organized, with proven ability to work autonomously and under tight time constraints
-Excellent English skills (fluent in spoken and written, presentation skills)
-Eagerness to learn new software and new technical skill
