1. Role & responsibilities

  • Operate and set up Multislide, Spring Coiling, or YSM machines as per production requirements.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and specifications to manufacture precision components.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality, dimensions, and tolerances are maintained.
  • Perform regular checks, adjustments, and tool changes to optimize machine performance.
  • Maintain proper records of production output, machine settings, and daily reports.
  • Identify and report any machine malfunctions, defects, or quality issues immediately.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance and ensure the machine is in good working condition.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
  • Support continuous improvement activities in production and efficiency.

2. Preferred candidate profile

  • Hands-on experience in operating Multislide / Spring Coiling / YSM machines.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

3. Qualifications & Experience

ITI Fitter / Diploma in Mechanical /ITI Machinist / Tool & Die / related field.

25 years of experience in operating Multislide / Spring Coiling / YSM machines.

Freshers with ITI/Diploma background may also be considered (training will be provided).
