We are currently looking for Sr Full-Stack Java Developer to help implement Securities Trading platform legacy modernization initiative for a prestigious investment banking client.


Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-7 years (8-12 years for Sr position) IT experience as a Full-Stack developer using Java/JEE technologies stack

Strong in Java 1.8, Springboot, Spring MVC, Spring batch, Microservices, REST/SOAP Web services

Proven experience in application design, design patterns and performance tuning

Experience with application security- Ability to securely expose APIs

Experience in recent versions of Angular (v 12 and above), Javascript, HTML5, CSS3

Strong SQL , and DB skills with experience of working on Oracle, MySql databases.Experience in using GIT, Maven for deployment and debugging issues

Experience in development/deployment in Cloud (AWS preferred) environment

Experience with Agile methodologies preferably in OnSite-Offshore environment

Must be able to effectively communicate across teams and roles.

Demonstrable ability to deliver projects on time, with high quality, and within budget.

Ability and desire to thrive in a proactive, high-pressure, client-services environment.

Strong analytical and conceptual skills

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all management levels

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Applications or equivalent

Experience in Investment Banking, specifically in Securities Trading applications is a HUGE PLUS

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, implement and unit test code

Participate in the full SDLC (Agile), including planning meetings, iterative development, estimations and design sessions.

Debug and fix production issues quickly

Coordinate with Onsite and Offshore team members to deliver project assignments on time and with high quality

Timely status reporting to managers

Understand and Analyze project risk and implications
