Position Overview- The Chapter Development Manager role encompasses a vital position focused on overseeing and facilitating the seamless operation of programs critical to organizational success. This person is mainly responsible for planning, organizing, and managing projects from inception to completion. The significance of this position lies in its capacity to ensure that all program elements are effectively coordinated and that organizational objectives are met within stipulated timelines and budgets & act as liaison between the chapter office and community members.
Key responsibilities are but not limited to- Developing program strategies and plans that align with the company’s mission and objectives. Coordinating and monitoring the scheduling, pricing, and performance of programs. Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Facilitating communication across project teams and with stakeholders to ensure alignment and awareness of project progress and challenges. Preparing and maintaining crucial documentation, including project status reports, budget expenditure, and forecasting. Managing resources effectively to implement the program strategies. Providing support and guidance to project staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting team spirit. Communicate with the membership as directed by leadership. Maintain a calendar of events, with appropriate links and deadlines. Collaborate with the community to develop membership campaigns and retention programs and help develop a meaningful portfolio of membership benefits. Engage with the board and/ counsel should the need arise. Follow policies and procedures set down by the leadership. Database Management, maintain the records and files with respect to membership list Maintain lists for board of directors and committees, and other lists as needed. Provide membership reports for conference calls and board meetings. Protect the security of membership data and enforce board regulations regarding the sharing of membership information. Be sure that data is backed up weekly and stored off-site, per management company practice Motivate and energize team members and contribute to their growth, well-being and success
Required skills, experiences and qualifications- To qualify for this position, candidates typically need to meet the following educational and certification requirements:
A master's degree in business administration/ social work / or related field. At least 8 years of experience in Chapter Development Roles, showcasing a track record of managing and developing chapters. Certification in Project Management (e.G., PMP - Project Management Professional or CAPM - Certified associate in project management) is highly desirable.
