Role Overview:We are looking for a skilled Shopify App Developer with a strong grasp of the Shopify ecosystem. This role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing apps within Shopify, collaborating with front-end developers and the UI/UX team to ensure seamless user experiences. If you have a passion for app development and a deep understanding of Shopify’s APIs, we’d love to have you on board.

Responsibilities:Develop custom Shopify apps that enhance our clients’ online stores, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with project requirements.Collaborate with front-end developers and the UI/UX team to create cohesive, user-friendly app interfaces.Integrate apps with Shopify’s APIs, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during or after implementation.Work with cloud services (AWS, Azure) to deploy and maintain applications effectively.Maintain and optimize database connections using SQL or NoSQL, ensuring secure and reliable data management.Implement RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange and interaction with external systems.Stay up-to-date with Shopify’s API changes and new development practices within the ecosystem.

Requirements:Proven experience in developing Shopify apps and working with the Shopify API.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of front-end development.Familiarity with cloud services like AWS and Azure.Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.Basic knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or PHP.Ability to learn new concepts quickly, adapt to changing technologies, and understand technical requirements.Strong communication skills for collaboration with designers and developers.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in other eCommerce platforms or ecosystems.Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and DevOps practices.Knowledge of Shopify’s app approval process and app store requirements.
