Company: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Data Governance Framework Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define, document, and implement a robust data governance framework tailored to the Mahindra Data Platform. Design and establish policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the effective management, quality, and security of data. Platform Focus: Initially focus on catering to the Automotive Division, understanding specific data needs and challenges within the Auto Division. Develop strategies to extend the data governance framework seamlessly to other businesses, such as Farm, and adapt it to their unique requirements. Technical Expertise: Possess a niche skill set in data governance, demonstrating expertise in data management, metadata management, and data quality. Lead the implementation of advanced data governance practices, including data lineage, data cataloging, and data stewardship. Internal Skill Development: Work collaboratively with internal teams to instill data governance best practices and foster a culture of data responsibility. Develop and execute training programs to enhance the organization's internal capabilities in data governance. Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and refine the data governance framework based on evolving business needs, technological advancements, and regulatory changes. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to data governance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with data architects, engineers, and business leaders to integrate data governance principles seamlessly into the Mahindra Data Platform. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment of data governance initiatives with the strategic objectives of Key Projects. Experience 3 - 5 years in Data Governance role, in data space expeience of 5 years. Over all experince of 8-10 years Industry Preferred Auto & Manufacturing. Retail (Optional) Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (Data Goverance) Information Management, or a related field. General Requirements
