Know more about us on What we are looking for: Role: QA Engineer Location: Bangalore/Delhi Experience Required: 3-4 years Kenverse is building AI-native products that power the next generation of experiences across education and enterprises. Our platforms combine agentic AI, modern cloud infrastructure, and scalable architectures to solve complex, real-world problems. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation) who is passionate about quality, loves breaking things in smart ways, and can help us ship reliable, high-performing products at speed. What You’ll Do Automation First Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites using Selenium (Java) for web applications. Build and enhance mobile automation frameworks using Appium for Android and iOS. Own and improve API automation & validation using Postman (collections, environments, scripts; nice-to-have: Newman/CI integration). End-to-End Quality Ownership Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Translate product requirements and user journeys into clear test plans, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria. Participate actively in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release readiness discussions. Defect & Process Management Identify, log, and track defects using Jira (or similar tools), and drive them to closure with dev and product teams. Contribute to and refine test strategies, test coverage metrics, and quality gates for releases. Maintain test documentation, test reports, and automation results in Git/GitHub and project repositories. Collaboration & DevOps Alignment Work closely with developers, QA leads, product managers, and DevOps to ensure smooth releases. Support integration of test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.G., GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps) for continuous testing. Provide clear quality signals (dashboards, reports, defect trends) for stakeholders. Our Ideal Candidate Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3–4 years of experience in software testing, with a mix of manual and automation. Strong hands-on experience with: Selenium (Java) for web automation. Appium for mobile test automation (Android and/or iOS). Postman for API testing (authorization, collections, test scripts, environment variables). Solid understanding of: STLC, SDLC, and defect life cycle management. Different test types: functional, regression, smoke/sanity, integration, and compatibility testing. Experience with Git/GitHub (branches, PRs, code reviews for test automation). Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and handle fast-paced, iterative releases. Good to Have (Bonus Points) MuleSoft Developer Certification (MCD Level 1 or above) or exposure to integration platforms. Experience testing large-scale SaaS products (multi-tenant, high-availability systems). Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud fundamentals (environments, services basics). Understanding of asynchronous integrations, pub/sub models, and event-driven architectures. Knowledge of security standards and practices: OAuth, JWT, TLS, IP whitelisting, data protection basics. Exposure to observability & monitoring tools such as Splunk, New Relic, ELK/Elastic Stack, Datadog, etc. Prior experience in education technology or similar enterprise domains. Why Join Kenverse?
