Position Summary:


As the Technical Lead at Zenatix, you will be the guiding light for a team of software engineers, helping them architect and develop applications using Java Spring and Python Django. Your focus will be on creating scalable, maintainable microservices and implementing event-driven designs with tools like Kafka and Eventhub. You're not just about writing code; you will explore serverless solutions for optimization, ensure integrated software solutions, maintain Kubernetes clusters, and champion best coding and CI/CD practices. Your belief in unit tests, Agile methodologies, and robust API designs will help ensure the delivery of quality software solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java Spring or Python Django.

  • Architect and implement microservices, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

  • Implement event-driven designs utilizing tools such as Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Eventhub.

  • Explore and implement serverless solutions to optimize performance and reduce costs.

  • Guide and inspire a team of software engineers, creating an environment of creativity and growth.

  • Collaborate with diverse teams, ensuring software solutions are holistic and integrated.

  • Implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.

  • Advocate for best coding and design practices, ensuring minimal technical debt.

  • Champion CI/CD best practices, ensuring rapid and reliable code deployments.

  • Prioritize unit tests and test automation to ensure software reliability and quality.

  • Embrace Agile methodologies, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness.

  • Design and develop robust APIs, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.

  • Maintain comprehensive API documentation for internal developers and external partners.


Qualifications


  • Deep expertise in Java Spring or Python Django, but experience in both. 

  • 6-8 years of overall software development experience.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of impactful contributions in a leading organization.

  • Proven experience in designing microservices and event-driven architectures.

  • Hands-on experience with Kafka, Kafka Streams, Eventhub, or similar technologies.

  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and implementations.

  • Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud platforms.

  • Good understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.

  • Proven experience in managing a team of software engineers.

  • Strong advocate for best coding, design, and CI/CD practices.

  • Passionate about software development and technology.

  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

  • Excellent API design and development skills.
