Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance ecommerce solutions for our clients. As an SFCC Architect, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, development teams, and other architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SFCC platform, along with proven experience in architecting complex B2C (Business to Consumer) ecommerce solutions.

Responsibilities:Lead the architecture and design of SFCC ecommerce solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry best practices, and platform capabilities.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, define system architecture, and develop technical specifications for implementation.Provide expertise and guidance on SFCC platform features, capabilities, and limitations, making recommendations to optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability.Design and implement integrations between SFCC and third-party systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, payment gateways) using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and middleware solutions.Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles to maintain code quality, consistency, and reusability across development teams.Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical assessments to ensure adherence to standards and identify opportunities for improvement.Mentor and coach development teams on SFCC development techniques, architecture patterns, and design principles, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.Stay informed about the latest SFCC features, updates, and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on existing solutions and future roadmap.Collaborate with infrastructure teams to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure hosting environments for SFCC applications.Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and technical evaluations to assess the feasibility and viability of new technologies, tools, and approaches for ecommerce solutions.Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of internal knowledge resources, whitepapers, and best practice guidelines related to SFCC architecture and development.

Qualifications:Minimum of 12 years of experience in ecommerce solution architecture, with a focus on SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud).Strong understanding of B2C ecommerce concepts, including catalog management, checkout flows, promotions, and customer experience optimization.Proficiency in SFCC architecture patterns, including SiteGenesis, SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture), and customizations/extensions using ISML, DS, Pipelines, and JavaScript.Extensive experience with SFCC integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi), and data synchronization techniques.Solid understanding of web technologies and protocols (HTTP, SSL, DNS, etc.), as well as cloud infrastructure and hosting environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications (e.g., SFCC Architect, SFCC Developer) preferred but not required.Experience with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle processes preferred.
