Company Description We suggest you enter details here. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Backup and Storage Engineer at Sutantra Systems Private Limited in New Delhi. As a Backup and Storage Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the backup and storage infrastructure. You will ensure data protection and availability by developing backup strategies, managing storage systems, and monitoring performance. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and provide efficient storage solutions. Qualifications Strong knowledge of backup and storage technologies, such as tape libraries, disk arrays, and backup software Experience with backup and recovery processes, including backup scheduling, data replication, and disaster recovery Knowledge of storage protocols and technologies, such as SAN, NAS, and RAID

Good basic skills on IBM/EMC/Netapp and/or Unified/NAS products

Additional knowledge on Cisco/Brocade zoning/ storage masking and Storage products Basic level of backup failure troubleshooting Good Skills on Commvault/Veritas/Netbackup Familiarity with cloud storage platforms, such as AWS S3 and Azure Blob Storage Ability to troubleshoot storage and backup issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, for automation and monitoring tasks Understanding of data deduplication, compression, and encryption techniques Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Industry certifications, such as Dell EMC Proven Professional, Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE), or NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA), are a plus
