Role & responsibilities

  • Cost Estimation:

  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for sugar plant equipment, civil works, and utilities.

  • Analyze raw material, fabrication, labor, and logistics costs.

  • Proposal Development:

  • Draft technical and commercial proposals for clients, including BOQs, scope of supply, and pricing.

  • Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure feasibility and competitiveness.

  • Tender Management:

  • Review tender documents, prepare bid submissions, and ensure compliance with client specifications.

  • Coordinate with legal and finance teams for contract terms and risk assessment.

  • Client Coordination:

  • Engage with clients to clarify technical queries and negotiate pricing.

  • Present proposals and support sales teams during client meetings.

  • Project Cost Control:

  • Monitor actual vs. estimated costs during execution.
  • Recommend cost optimization strategies and track profitability.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Sugar manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Financial modeling and cost control techniques
  • Tendering norms and government procurement procedures

Preferred candidate profile

Seeking a detail-oriented professional to assist in preparation of competitive tender bids, cost estimation, proposal preparation, RFQ drafting.

Will be required to collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to deliver accurate cost summaries and strategic techno-commercial proposals. Other responsibilities include preparing bid estimates, supporting proposal development, reviewing tenders, and handling related tasks as assigned. Ideal for candidates with strong analytical and coordination skills
