Discovery Resort Marketing, a leading digital advertising agency in the vacation ownership industry, is seeking a visionary and experienced Web Development Manager to lead our team in a comprehensive systems overhaul. In this role, you will be at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to drive qualified leads and optimize our marketing efforts.
We are building a future-proof data infrastructure to empower data-driven decision making. You will spearhead the implementation of a new, efficient data model across all our platforms, ensuring seamless integration and improved performance. This includes:
Data Warehousing: Design and implement a robust data warehouse to centralize and organize marketing data from diverse sources (website, call center, email platforms, advertising platforms).
Business Intelligence (BI): Utilize BI tools and dashboards to gain actionable insights from customer data, optimizing campaign performance and lead generation.
Machine Learning (ML): Explore the potential of ML algorithms to personalize marketing experiences and predict customer behavior.
Technical Expertise & Leadership
Beyond data expertise, you will bring strong leadership and technical skills to the table:
Project Leadership: Oversee the entire development process, from initial planning and data model design to successful implementation and launch.
Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of web development best practices, including front-end, back-end, database technologies, and familiarity with AI and ML concepts.
Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of developers, providing clear direction and ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Technology Evaluation: Stay current on industry trends and evaluate new technologies like AI and ML to support our evolving needs.
System Architecture: Design and implement the new data model across our marketing website, call center sales application, CRM, CMS, and business logic systems.
API Management: Oversee the integration and maintenance of APIs for seamless data communication between systems (email platforms, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Customer Data Platforms).
Change Management: Effectively communicate project goals and timelines to stakeholders across the organization.
Stay abreast of emerging trends in accelerated computing (e.g., GPUs, TPUs) and next-generation AI-assisted development tools.
Requirements :
Minimum 5 years of experience in web development management.
Proven track record of leading successful and complex web development projects.
Strong understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., AngularJS/ React JS, HTML, CSS, Javascript).
In-depth knowledge of back-end technologies (e.g., Yii2, PHP).
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL).
Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts (a plus).
Experience with Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence tools (a plus).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bonus Points:
Experience with content management systems (e.g., Wordpress, Strapi).
Experience with API development and integration.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
