Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure using AWS Cloud services, managing Kubernetes clusters, and handling streaming data pipelines with AWS MSK (Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka). You will also lead the development of CI/CD pipelines and integrate with GitHub for efficient code management and collaboration.


Key Responsibilities:

Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).

Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications.

Implement and monitor AWS MSK (Kafka) for real-time streaming data pipelines.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment, testing, and delivery.

Integrate with GitHub for source control, collaboration, and branch management.

Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability for cloud-based applications.

Monitor system performance using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar.

Collaborate with developers to streamline deployment processes using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, VPC configurations, and encryption.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues across the full stack.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS Cloud.

Expertise in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.

Hands-on experience with AWS MSK (Kafka) for managing streaming data pipelines.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.

Proficiency in version control using GitHub.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Deep understanding of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.

Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.

Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.

Experience with Kafka configuration, performance tuning, and monitoring.

Knowledge of cloud security best practices.

Experience with automated testing for infrastructure.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
