You'll have the opportunity to work with some of the best minds serving insurance customers in US, UK and Canadian markets.ResponsibilitiesFollowing are the day-to-day work activities:- Design, develop, and configure Guidewire applications such as Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center.- Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using SOAP/REST APIs.- Write and debug code using Java, GOSU, and SQL.- Leverage Git Hub Copilot and Generative AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance productivity.- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure solution quality.- Provide support for QA and production environments.- Analyze and resolve complex software issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where applicable.- Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and management throughout the development lifecycle.RequirementsThe must have requirements are:- 3–10 years of hands-on implementation experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite.- Proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, and XSLT.- Experience with Guidewire Studio, Rules, Workflows, and Data Model.- Familiarity with Git, Git Hub, and CI/CD pipelines.- Hands-on experience using Git Hub Copilot or similar AI pair programming tools.- Understanding of Generative AI concepts and their application in software development.- Familiarity with Smart COMM, Ghost Draft, or similar document generation platforms.- Knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance, including both commercial and personal lines.- Experience with Agile tools like Jira and version control systems like SVN.- Strong conceptual, analytical, and mathematical skills.Good To HaveCandidates with these extra skills on their resumes have an added advantage while getting their profile assessed.
