The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales team, ensuring success of sales performance of business accounts. This role is the key person to focus on driving sales and establish effective sales strategies to achieve the business goals. The ideal candidate will be someone who is aggressive, passionate in working towards targets and sales driven.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible in sales planning and coaching sales team into meeting business direction and strategies, ensuring achievement of sales target.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies relevant to the trade and channel.
  • Effective trade spend management in devising effective promo plans and optimizing budget utilization.
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with customers. Involved in negotiation and closing trade terms agreement with the customers.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Responsible for the Modern Trade Sales for the whole of Malaysia.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 - 15 years of working experience as a Business Development, Key Account Management or Sales with at least 2 years of proven managerial experience in FMCG NonFood Industry.
  • Language proficiency: English and Mandarin speaking as well as written preferably.
  • Experience in distributor management is a plus.
  • High achiever in closing deals
  • Ability to build rapport and strong stakeholders management skills.
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Ability and strong leadership skills to lead, guide, and motivate the sales team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Possess own transport.
  • Working at trade on the weekend is a requirement.
