We are looking for a talented Animator to bring depth and dynamism to the characters, environments, and creatures in our next-gen action-adventure game. The ideal candidate will excel in creating fluid and expressive animations that enhance the narrative and gameplay experience.

What you'll do:

Character and Environment Animation:

  • Craft high-quality animations for characters and environmental elements, focusing on natural movement and interaction within the game world.
  • Ensure animations contribute to storytelling and player immersion.

Cinematic Animation:

  • Produce animations for in-game cinematics, working closely with the narrative team for consistency and impact.
  • Focus on emotional expression and narrative pacing.

Character Rigging and Creation:

  • Assist in the character creation process, from rigging to skinning, ensuring optimal performance of animations.
  • Maintain consistency in character design and movement throughout the game.

Animation Optimization:

  • Optimize animations for performance, ensuring smooth integration into the game engine.
  • Collaborate with programmers to resolve any technical issues related to animation.

Feedback Implementation and Optimization:

  • Participate in regular reviews and implement feedback to improve animation quality.
  • Continuously refine animations based on gameplay requirements and artistic vision.

You'd be a great fit if you:

  • Have strong experience in character, environment, and creature animation.
  • Possess the knowledge of game engines, preferably Unreal Engine 4/5.
  • Have a great proficiency in animation tools such as Character Creator, iClone, Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
  • Possess the knowledge of animation principles, with a keen eye for detail and realism.
  • Have excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to various artistic styles.
  • Have effective communication skills and teamwork-oriented attitude.
  • Have a strong passion for gaming and commitment to crafting compelling and immersive experiences.
