Job Objective:

The Group Head - Manufacturing Excellence will lead strategic and operational initiatives to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in manufacturing processes across Trident’s facilities. This role will enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability in line with Trident’s goals and will ensure the company maintains a competitive edge in manufacturing operations. This individual will set the strategic direction for manufacturing excellence and champion operational transformations to achieve world-class manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibility Areas

Strategy-

- Develop a comprehensive roadmap to advance manufacturing excellence and adopt cutting-edge technologies.- Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging new solutions for operational efficiency and quality.- Collaborate with external partners to bring best practices in lean, automation, and sustainability to manufacturing.- Create a cost-optimization strategy focused on process improvements and technology enhancements.- Establish robust maintenance and reliability programs to maximize equipment performance.

Operations

- Regularly analyze and improve manufacturing processes to remove bottlenecks and enhance productivity.- Implement automation, lean practices, and predictive maintenance to drive efficiency and reduce manual intervention.- Lead initiatives to optimize energy use, minimize waste, and achieve sustainability targets.- Monitor key cost drivers and implement measures to improve overall operational efficiency.

Key Performance Indicators

- Achievement of manufacturing cost savings targets.- Increase in process efficiency and reduction in cycle times.- Improvement in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and system uptime.- Reduction in waste and enhanced sustainability metrics.- Successful adoption of new technologies and innovative manufacturing practices.

Role Requirements

- Qualifications:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably with experience in textiles.

Skills and Competencies:

- Strong expertise in lean manufacturing, automation, and continuous improvement.- Proficiency in advanced manufacturing systems, including IoT and predictive maintenance.- Exceptional project management skills to oversee large-scale initiatives.- Innovative mindset with a track record of driving efficiency and quality.
