Role & Responsibilities


  • Seeking a candidate with 5-7 years of experience in Automotive CAS/Class A surface development using Autodesk Alias.
  • The ideal candidate should have expertise in interior and exterior.
  • Primary responsibilities include delivering high-quality Class A surfaces while adhering to program timelines.
  • The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the surface development process, automotive aesthetics, and design intricacies.
  • Adept at translating various inputs (such as designer sketches, scan data, sections, and verbal directions) into surface data with minimal iterations.
  • Proficiency in interpreting 2D sketches and renderings into 3D surfaces is essential.
  • Collaboration with studio designers and engineers to produce production-quality Class A surface data is essential.
  • Familiarity with Blender, Alias Sub D and VRED is a plus.


WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:


  • The candidate must have 5-7 years of substantial experience in CAS/Class-A modeling in the automotive industry.
  • Graduate or Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Design/ Engineering from a reputable design school/ Institute/ University.
  • High proficiency in surfacing software like Alias/ Blender.
  • High proficiency in visualization software like Vred/ KeyShot/ Unreal Engine/ Blender.
  • High proficiency in Parametric Modelling software like Dynamo/Grasshopper.
