Instructional Designer

We are seeking a CBT Instructional Designer for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, working onsite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and eLearning development, with hands-on expertise in video editing and the Adobe Creative Suite, including Animate CC, Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, and Premiere Pro CC. Knowledge of additional illustration or design software is a significant plus.

You will be responsible for designing engaging, effective, and visually compelling digital learning experiences for our internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop engaging Computer-Based Training (CBT) content aligned with instructional design principles and adult learning theory

Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather content and define learning objectives

Develop storyboards, scripts, and visual concepts for CBT modules

Create and edit
instructional videos using Adobe Premiere Pro
and other video tools

Design custom graphics, animations, and
illustrations using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Animate CC

Ensure consistent branding and design standards across all training content

Participate in reviews and revise materials based on stakeholder and learner feedback

Ensure accessibility, visual appeal, and platform compatibility of learning content

Maintain project documentation and meet development timelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in instructional design or eLearning content development

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite:

Animate CC

Photoshop CC

Illustrator CC

Premiere Pro CC

Experience in video editing, storyboarding, and animation for instructional use

Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)

Ability to develop visually engaging content with a focus on learner experience

Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Must be able to work from the Office and collaborate in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with other illustration or animation software (e.g., After Effects, Maya, etc.)

Experience working in industries with compliance/regulatory training

Knowledge of SCORM/xAPI and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Background in graphic design, visual communication, or multimedia arts

Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Location: Work from Office

Start Date: Immediate to 30 days
