Job Description: Android Developer

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and innovative Android Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications on the Android platform.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, backend developers) to define, design, and ship new features.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Debug and fix issues, improving application stability and reliability.

Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud-based services.

Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, frameworks, and tools.

Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and Agile/Scrum activities.

Continuously improve app performance, user experience, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's a plus).

8+ years of hands-on experience in Android app development.

Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.

Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack libraries.

Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and MVVM/MVP architectures.

Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.

Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting tools.

Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket).

Understanding of UI/UX principles, Material Design, and responsive layouts.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (JUnit, Espresso).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Knowledge of app deployment process to Google Play Store.

Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Exposure to payment gateway integrations, in-app purchases, or e-commerce apps.
