Responsibilities :

- Develop against project KPIs such as timeline, scope control, security, and actuals vs. estimates

- Provide leadership to engineering resources across our global organization.

- Design and code solutions to meet defined business requirements.

- Enforce organizational development standards and best practices.

- Improve overall engineering practices around the whole SDLC.

- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues across different browsers and devices.

- Provide support to other engineering team members when needed to support a collaborative environment.

- Consult on technical solutions with internal engineering managers.

- Stay up to date with emerging web development trends and technologies.

- Conceptualize, design, and negotiate priorities to determine deadlines.

- Maintain strong working relationship internally and with other departments to ensure open lines of communication regarding priorities, requirements, and status.

Qualifications :

- Magento Certified Developer with least 7 years of hands-on development experience

- The candidate must be at least Magento 2 Certified Professional Developer

- Experience with web services (SOAP, XML-RPC, REST) and APIs.

- Experience using HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery and other JS frameworks.

- Front End experience in Angular (1.4.11), Docker, React 16.7.0 is a plus

- Experience with AWS Infrastructure: ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, CloudFront

- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented principles and design patterns.

- Experience working with the LAMP stack.

- Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries in RDBs.

- Prior experience with Magento 1 migrations is a plus.

- Provide detailed feedback to developers of all levels within a code review process.

- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and A/B testing best practices is a plus.

Soft Skills :

- Desire to lead by influence across multiple levels of an organization.

- Commerce experience desired (Braintree/PayPal).

- Detail-Oriented, Creative Problem Solver.

- Knowledge of Web Application Performance Technologies.

- Exceptional time management skills.

- Ability to multitask and smoothly transition between tasks across multiple projects.

- Must be effective working independently as well as part of a team.
