Data Analytics is looking for Experienced Data Product Engineer to help build cloud-based Data Products. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing IT&DA goals of developing cloud native applications/adopting multi-cloud strategy.

Position Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 8-12 years of experience as a data engineer or software engineer
• Hands on programming experience in either Python, Java or Scala
• Hands on experience in building data pipelines using GCP (Data Flow, Pub Sub, Big Query and others) or Azure (Data Factory, Data bricks, SQL Server, Synapse and others)
• Hands on experience in building Data API’s (Micro services)
• Hands on experience in writing SQL (No- SQL is a big plus)
• Hands on experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow/GCP Composer
• Experience with application development using CI/CD with exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, PCF, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform etc
• Hands on experience on Data Modelling
• Experience in leading teams with diversity

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Aviation domain experience
• Experience building self-service tooling and platforms
• Contributed to open source projects (Ex: Operators in Airflow)
• Certified cloud engineer certification (either GCP or Azure)

Typical Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 8-12 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred but not required.
