Position Overview:  


We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing innovative mechanical components and systems for various projects. Your expertise in CAD software, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills will be essential in developing robust and efficient designs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. 


Roles and Responsibilities:  


  • Design, develop, and evaluate mechanical systems and components for various projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, standards, and regulations. 
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed designs, engineering drawings, and prototypes. 
  • Conduct engineering analysis, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and dynamic simulation, to validate design concepts and optimize performance. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to integrate mechanical systems into overall product designs. 
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and technical discussions to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions. 
  • Generate technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports, to communicate design intent and project progress. 
  • Plan and execute testing and validation activities, including prototype testing, product verification, and performance testing, to ensure product reliability and compliance with requirements. 
  • Support manufacturing and production processes by providing technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering, and apply knowledge to enhance design methodologies and processes. 

Qualifications:  


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. 
  • Proven experience 2-4 years in mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent. 
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science. 
  • Experience with engineering analysis tools and techniques, such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), is desirable. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to apply analytical thinking to complex engineering challenges. 
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely. 
  • Detail-oriented approach to work, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and project milestones.
