KeyResponsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of complex datadriven webapplications to meet project requirements.

  • Collaborate withtechnical teams to gather requirements document solutionspecifications and write functional requirements.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in frontend technologies such asHTML CSS and JavaScript as well as experience with frontendlibraries like Bootstrap and Vue.js.
  • Work withgeospatial data and implement and consume APIs and web services asrequired.
  • Utilize Atlassian products (JiraConfluence Bitbucket) for project management andcollaboration.
  • Maintain effectivecommunication channels both written and verbal to ensure clearunderstanding and alignment with project objectives.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently andcooperatively within a team environment fostering collaboration andknowledge sharing.

Qualifications andSkills:

  • Postgraduatequalifications in Information Technology or relevant field orextensive experience and management expertise.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading the design anddevelopment of complex datadriven web applications.
  • Expert knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) administration AnsiblePHP 8 (Laravel highly regarded) andMySQL/PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
  • Proficiency inversion control systems particularly Git.
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML CSS and JavaScript withexperience in frontend libraries (Bootstrap Vue.js)preferred.
  • Experience with Atlassian products(Jira Confluence Bitbucket) and geospatial datamanagement.
  • Familiarity with Python andexperience implementing and consuming APIs and webservices.
  • Strong business analysis skillsincluding requirement gathering and solution specificationdocumentation.
  • Demonstrated project managementskills including scoping planning and team management.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and organisationalskills.
