We are backed by marquee international investors - these are mobility focused funds backed by Yamaha Motors, Al-Futtaim Automotive Group, Toyota VC and Maniv Mobility.Key Responsibilities The candidate to should handle different tasks associated with i) Motor supplier association & ii) Inhouse motor development projectsStrong Understanding of low frequency electromagnetic fundamentalsGood knowledge of electric motor design principles and methodologiesCharacterize machine performance for basic sizing and performance estimations using analytical toolsAnalysis and validation of designs with FEA calculations in both 2 D and 3 DProficiency in ANSYS Motor-CAD, ANSYS Maxwell or similar FEA tools. Motor optimization taking into account different Multiphysics aspects. ANSYS Opti slang proficiency is an added advantageGood understanding of mechanical, thermal, structural & NVH aspects of motor designCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure motor design meets specificationsPrototyping and Manufacturing of the motors for POC verificationConduct testing and analysis to optimize PMSM motor (or any other motor type) performance and efficiencyPlatform motor design modification to meet new requirementsTear-down and Benchmarking of MotorsContinuously evaluate new technologies and design improvements to develop the most power dense, efficient, low cost, and reliable electric motorDesign skills of PMSM motor & magnet less motors (Sync Rel, Wound field, Switched reluctance motors, Induction motor etc.)Motor supplier association and ensure different motor performance aspects are clearly achievedGood expertise in motor material selection, soft magnetic composites, potting solutions, HRE free magnets etc.Ideal Candidate M. E / M. Tech (EEE) 4 to 7 Years of Experience in Electromagnetic Motor Design, Prototyping & Testing for Electric Vehicle
