Job DescriptionAs a

Manager, Software Engineering

in the Financials division, you will lead a team of engineers and partner with other teams to develop and deliver a customized workflow platform solution for our customers. This platform will be leveraged by teams across Procore to allow our customers to run highly customizable business processes inside the Procore application. You’ll partner with product managers, designers, architects, and engineers to define your team's vision and execute your roadmap. Use your collaboration skills, mastery of engineering management, and technical expertise to build impactful teams and foundational software in order for Procore to be ready on an enterprise and global scale.This position will report to our VP of Engineering, Financials. The position will be located in Pune, India. We’re looking for candidates to join our team immediatelyWhat you’ll do:Focus on the development of our Workflows platform service for Procore.Drive innovation and change to accommodate enterprise and international customers for Procore across the organizationWork cross-functionally with product and UX to build roadmaps and execution plansOwn the overall success of business domains managing the improvement of functionality, APIs, SDK's, and performanceCollaborate with leadership to set short term and long term goals and strategiesContribute to architecture designMentor and coach your teams and the broader organizationDrive excellence and product quality in key areas of the Procore in our Financials divisionIdentify opportunities and manage teams to successfully deliver our initiativesWhat we're looking for:8+ years total experience as a Software Engineer3+ years experience managing teams of varying sizes and timezonesBS or MS degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experienceExperience in leading highly effective engineering teamsAbility to coach, provide mentorship and guidance that aids team growth and developmentTrack record of shipping value to customers with high qualityAbility to lead large initiatives and evaluate current technical and organizational approachesProficient in software development process, e.g., agile processes, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testingPassionate about technology, tooling, industry trends, and best practicesExperience with Java, Javascript/Typescript, Ruby a plusOpen to shift working hours to accommodate for time zone differences
