About the Role

As a System Engineer-1 , you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing our network and server infrastructure. You will provide first and second-level IT support globally and collaborate closely with operations and development teams to ensure system availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

·       Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain network and system operations.

·       Administer Linux and Windows servers.

·       Deploy, configure, and support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

·       Automate operational tasks using Python, Shell, or similar scripting.

·       Implement network security and conduct performance monitoring.

·       Provide IT support for workstations, devices, collaboration tools, and mobile devices.

·       Assist in server, network, and security device management.

·       Support global project rollouts and policy implementations.

Skills & Experience

·       Strong knowledge of PC/laptop hardware, basic networking, and Windows 10/Office 365 administration.

·       Experience with server OS, Active Directory, SharePoint, Teams, and telephony/collaboration solutions.

·       Familiarity with cloud technologies and Microsoft Azure.

·       Knowledge of security best practices, system patching, and HIPAA standards.

·       Strong remote support skills using email, phone, and remote tools.

·       Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

·       Experience in system administration or network operations.

·       Linux/Windows server expertise.

·       Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

·       Scripting skills (Python, Shell, etc.).

·       Network security and performance monitoring knowledge.

·       Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred skills

·       Certifications: CCNA, AWS, RHCE.

·       Experience with automation/configuration tools.

·       Backup and disaster recovery knowledge.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

·       Proven track record in managing and supporting IT infrastructure.
