We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Networking Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of data communication systems across LAN, WAN, cloud, and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in networking protocols, troubleshooting, and optimizing data networks for scalability and efficiency.

Core Skills: Expertise in LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP), routing & switching, firewalls, and network security. Skilled in automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform), performance optimization, and troubleshooting with tools like Wireshark and SolarWinds.

Job Responsibilities

  • Engage with multiple cloud and networking stakeholders, understand the requirements for complex enterprise cloud environment
  • Design, configure, and manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and hybrid cloud networking solutions
  • Provide networking expertise and guidance across on-premises data centers, public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid infrastructures
  • Provide cloud and network security expertise and guidance to the cloud programs including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Cloud Application Architecture subprograms.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and SMEs to deliver complete security architecture solutions
  • Implement and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and SD-WAN solutions
  • Automate network provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting using tools such as Ansible, Python, or Terraform
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, capacity, and security
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues with minimal downtime
  • Document network configurations, standards, and operational procedures

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of overall experience in datacentre, cloud and enterprise networking
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS, Azure and GCP networking
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP)
  • 3+ years of experience with SDN, SD-WAN, or advanced networking in cloud environments
  • Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing technologies
  • Understanding of classical and cloud-native networking design patterns
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios)
  • Knowledge of network security fundamentals and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field; or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty, or GCP Network Engineer
  • Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Python)
  • Exposure to container networking (Kubernetes, Docker) and microservices architectures
  • Familiarity with VoIP, video conferencing, and unified communication systems
