39k Group seeks a creative problem-solver who is passionate about trading and enjoys working on complex problems as part of a unique team. The role will involve formulating, managing and refining cryptocurrency HFT algorithms to deliver maximum risk adjusted returns. 


Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct in-depth research to develop trading and market-making strategies focused on enhancing value for market participants.

• Oversee real-time trading systems and adjust trading parameters to maximize profitability.

• Analyze historical data and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency of trading systems.


Requirements:


• Over 5 years of experience in trading across various asset classes, preferably at the sales and trading desk of an investment bank or an HFT firm.

• Proficiency in Python and C++ (ability to review software engineer solutions and write code if necessary).

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

• Capability to work with large datasets and explore new concepts.

• An ownership mindset, with a focus on delivering maximum value to both the markets and the company.

• A strong desire and curiosity to delve deeper into algorithmic, high-frequency, quantitative, and market-making trading.


Location: Hybrid with base office in Gurgaon


Compensation: Flexible as per candidate's track record and skillset
