Overview : We arecurrently seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA AutomationEngineer with proficiency in React Next.js web applications andWebDriver technology to join our team. As a QA Automation Engineeryou will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality andreliability of our web applications through the development andexecution of automated test scripts. You will collaborate closelywith crossfunctional teams to drive quality improvements andenhance our software testing processes.

JobResponsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the QA team development team andstakeholders to understand project requirements identify testscenarios and define test strategies.

  • Design develop and maintain scalableautomated test scripts using WebDriver technology andindustrystandard testing frameworks.
  • Execute automated test suites analyze testresults and report any defects or issues using bug trackingsystems.
  • Continuouslymonitor and enhance the automation testing frameworks ensuringtheir efficiency scalability and effectiveness.
  • Assist in mentoring and guidingjunior team members in automation testing techniques and bestpractices.
  • Collaborate with the development team to troubleshootissues reproduce defects and assist in theirresolution.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback toensure the quality of automated test scripts.
  • Contribute to the continuousimprovement of testing processes methodologies andtools.
  • Stay updatedwith emerging trends tools and best practices in automation testingand proactively introduce innovative approaches to enhance theoverall testing capability of the team.

MandatorySkillset:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science InformationTechnology or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similarrole with a strong track record of successful automation testingprojects.
  • Goodunderstanding of React Next.js and WebDrivertechnology.
  • Proficiency in testing React Next.js webapplications.
  • Experience in building automated test scripts usingWebDriver Selenium Cucumber with Java.
  • Experience in different automationframeworks: BDD hybrid frameworks using JUnit/TestNG.
  • Experience in enhancingautomation test coverage and reducing test cycle time. Experiencein code review improving code quality with the help of designpatterns and coding guidelines.
  • Experience in maintaining automation code using bestpractices: Git/GitHub/GitLab.
  • Experience in build management tools:Maven/Gradle.
  • Experience in automated testing using testinfrastructure: Physical devices Emulators/Simulators cloudbasedtest infrastructure.
  • Experience in reporting clear and concise status of testautomation.
  • Experience in Agile project test automation: timelyfeedback reporting impediments in deliverables.
  • Strong communication skills ableto communicate effectively with team members.
  • Collaborative approach to delivera quality product with the help of different teams (QA Dev BAPO).
  • Ability to takeownership and contribute to the formulation of new automationcapabilities using innovative ideas.
