We are looking for an experienced
Design Coordinator – Pavement
to join our team for a major
airport project
. The role focuses on managing pavement design and coordination activities while ensuring compliance with international quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate pavement design activities for airside and landside works (runways, taxiways, aprons, and roadways).
- Ensure designs meet project specifications, IRC, MORTH, FAA, ICAO, AASHTO, and other applicable standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors for smooth design execution.
- Provide technical expertise in
rigid & flexible pavement design
, geometric design, and drainage systems. - Support construction teams with design clarifications and ensure timely delivery of drawings/documents.
- Monitor design progress, risks, and prepare technical reports for stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's in Civil Engineering.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in
pavement/highway/airport projects
. - Strong knowledge of
airport pavement design standards
and construction practices. - Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MX Road, OpenRoads Designer, or similar tools.
- Expertise in rigid/flexible pavements, asphalt/concrete mix design, and geometric design.
- Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
