Role - SQL DBA Location - Delhi Type - Permanent Job Description: Key Skills & Responsibilities: Strong proficiency in SQL Server / MySQL database administration, maintenance, and optimization. Experience with database design, schema management, indexing, and query optimization . Expertise in backup, restore, disaster recovery strategies, and database archiving . Experience with data retention policies, purging, and archiving large datasets . Performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of production databases. Knowledge of high availability, replication, clustering, and failover mechanisms . Familiarity with security, user management, and data access control . Experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers . Familiarity with automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines for database deployments. Sound understanding of Agile methodologies and collaboration with development teams. Nice-to-Have / Optional: Exposure to cloud databases (Azure SQL). Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.). Experience working with Data Lakes, large-scale data platforms, and data archival solutions .
