Looking for professional experience in machine learning, big data, and artificial intelligence.
Position Overview
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data-driven solutions to meet business needs. You will collaborate with specialized teams to understand operational challenges, translate them into mathematical models, and develop effective data processing solutions. This role involves leading and contributing to projects, managing knowledge transfer, and leveraging your expertise in machine learning, big data, and AI to deliver impactful results.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders and specialized teams to understand and formalize operational needs into mathematical models and problems.
Explore and analyze large-scale structured and unstructured databases to identify patterns and insights.
Design, implement, and deliver data processing solutions using relevant machine learning techniques.
Present and promote solutions to relevant stakeholders and committees.
Lead and contribute to the implementation of data science solutions, managing projects from inception to deployment.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and share knowledge through training sessions, seminars, and other platforms.
Build and expand the team’s capabilities, fostering innovation and growth into newer applications.
Technical and Professional Skills
Machine Learning & AI: Extensive experience in applying machine learning to business problems, with hands-on expertise in data mining, social network analysis, and text mining.
Programming: Proficiency in Python is required, with additional skills in R, Java, or Scala being highly appreciated.
Distributed Computing: Experience with modern distributed computing frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop.
Data Processing & Visualization: Strong background in database access (SQL, Hive, MongoDB) and data visualization tools (e.g., Dash, Plotly).
Cloud Services: Experience with AWS and other cloud platforms.
CI/CD & Deployment: Proficiency in CI/CD deployment, Docker, and deploying ML models into production environments.
Deep Learning: Knowledge and experience in Deep Learning, particularly in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision, is a strong plus.
