Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Engineer Factory Controls & Robotics for a full-time, on-site position in Coimbatore. You will be working on projects for US clients.As a

Senior Engineer Factory Controls & Robotics , you will be responsible for:Designing, developing, integrating, verifying offine robotic weld systemsDesigning, developing, integrating, verifying offine automated machining systemsDesigning, developing, integrating, verifying offine automated material handling systemsDesigning, developing PLC based controls systems for manufacturing processesConducting Manufacturing Design and Industrial Engineering activities for new and current productsLeading projects and working with clients to manage work and deliveryApplying expert knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Process Planning, PFMEA, Control Plan, DFMA, Facilities Layout, Line Design, Standardized Work, Factory & Process Automation, Sequence of Events development, Mixed Model Line Design, Digital Manufacturing, Factory Automation - Robotics, PLCs, Tool and Fixture DesignTraining others when requiredPerforming other activities as needed

QualificationsTo qualify for this role, you should have:A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Automobile or Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering or related field4+ to 7+ years of experience in factory automation using assembly, weld and material handling robots and plc based control systemsGood offline programming skillsExcellent working knowledge with CAD/CAM software, robotics, automation, and process simulation toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, and quality teamsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies is preferred.Solid Works or related CAD software experience is a must.Knowledge of offline robot programming and robotic manufacturing design a mustThe compensation will be commensurate with your background and experience.IndustryEngineering ServicesEmployment TypeFull-time
