Job Overview The Parent Relationship Associate - Collections will be responsible for managing fee collections and maintaining healthy relationships with parents/guardians at Vidyapeeth centers. The role involves regular follow-ups, payment coordination, and resolution of fee-related concerns while ensuring a professional and empathetic approach. This position plays a critical role in revenue realization and parent satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with parents/guardians regarding pending fees, installments, and overdue payments Conduct telephonic follow-ups, WhatsApp communication, and in-person discussions for fee recovery Maintain accurate records of collections, commitments, and payment statuses Explain fee structures, payment plans, due dates, and policies clearly to parents Escalate critical cases to senior management as per defined protocols Resolve parent queries related to payments in a polite and solution-oriented manner Collaborate with academic and operations teams to ensure smooth parent communication Ensure timely achievement of monthly collection targets Maintain confidentiality of financial and student-related data Generate and share regular collection reports and MIS with the concerned team Required Skills & Competencies Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and empathetically Good follow-up and persuasion skills Basic knowledge of collections, recovery, or fee management Comfortable with calling-based roles and payment discussions Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets for tracking and reporting High level of integrity, patience, and accountability Eligibility Criteria Graduation in any discipline (Commerce / Management preferred) 1-3 years of experience in collections, recovery, customer service, or parent-facing roles Experience in EdTech / Education / Banking / NBFC / Telecom collections is an added advantage Comfortable working in an onsite, target-driven environment
