Senior Oracle Admin - Golden Gate & RAC Location : Bangalore Mode: Hybrid Work Schedule: Shift Timing: UK Shift – 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST On-Call Rotation: Required as part of support coverage Customer is currently seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong background in production support to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle DBA roles, with expertise in Data Guard , Oracle Golden Gate , and Backup/Restore operations . Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive production support for Oracle databases. Manage and maintain Data Guard configurations for high availability and disaster recovery. Implement and support Oracle Golden Gate for real-time data replication. Perform regular backup and restore operations to ensure data integrity and availability. Handle Business-As-Usual (BAU) support activities including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Work independently and take full ownership of the assigned shift. Work Mode: Hybrid Model: 3 days working from the Bangalore office Candidate Requirements: Minimum 8 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in a production environment Strong knowledge of Data Guard , Golden Gate , and backup/restore strategies Ability to work independently and manage shift responsibilities Willingness to participate in on-call rotation Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Good to have automation experience
