A DevOps release manager starts by creating a comprehensive release plan, outlining the scope, timeline, and dependencies.Developing and maintaining the release management process, including the coordination of all aspects of the release lifecycle.Key Responsibilities BusinessEffective communication is paramount for a successful release management process.Supporting training and communication as part of change management. Activities may include designing or delivering specialized training resources to appropriate resources.ProcessesOwn the entire change and release lifecycle, collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to guarantee proper testing, documentation, and scheduling.People & TalentLead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.Release management allows for distinctive but connected aspects of a project like design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and more.Coordinate planning and preparation for Deployment.Risk ManagementProficient in. Methods and techniques for the assessment and management of business risk including safety-related risk.A DevOps release manager should be well-versed in risk management and compliance practices.GovernanceActs as process owner for the change management process.
