Lead Administrator - Splunk Observability

Experience

4-10 Years (4+Years Relevant in Splunk)

Candidate Requirement

Technology / Expertise : Splunk Observability

Key responsibilities:

  • Design new services, tools, and monitoring to be implemented or enhance the existing services.
  • Expert knowledge and awareness of the Splunk Observability Cloud using O11y.
  • Splunk O11y Cloud Certified Metrics User preferred.
  • Proven skills to effectively work across teams and functions to influence the design, operations, and deployment of highly available software.
  • Should have in-depth knowledge on SLA, SLO, Detectors, Metrics, Dashboards, etc.
  • Integration with other systems like ITSM, Event Management, etc.

Qualifications/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • ITIL Certification level
  • Splunk O11y Cloud Certified Metrics certification.
  • 10+ relevant years technical IT experience that includes:
  • 6+ relevant years in Splunk based design and deployment experience.
  • 4+ relevant years deploying Enterprise Management Software Solutions, strong hands-on experience in Splunk Observability Cloud
  • 3+ years of solid hands-on cloud infrastructure experience on public cloud platforms preferably AWS.
  • Should have knowledge on Terraform for deployment.
