Job Description

REFID628512Lead Software Engineer - Pune/ ChennaiFull Stack Software DevelopmentDesign and architect new single-page web applications and develop key system features.Explore and evaluate new technologies to advance our SaaS platform and grow our businessLead a team that will execute projects from beginning to end, including working with product management, gathering requirements, brainstorming solutions, building final applications and testing.Delegate tasks to team members matching their individual experience to the task to promote engagement, learning and probability of success.Provide practical technical guidance to your product manager partner to increase the odds of overall project success.Troubleshoot technical issues as they emergeEscalate technical issues impacting activities outside of your team.Enforce community best practices and team SDLC guidelinesWork with your QA lead partner to ensure the overall quality of project deliverables.Mentor more junior developers and encourage senior developers to mentor as well.Work closely with architects, and other teams to design and implementation cross functional requirementsLead design and code reviews encouraging participation of your team members

Qualifications

8 to 10 years of software development / engineering experienceMS/BS in Software Engineering or related disciplineTechnical skillsExperience with Full Stack Software DevelopmentExperience in Back End programming in Java, GroovyExperience with microservice development is a plusExperience in User Interface programming with Javascript frameworks like Angular or EmberExperience in web application developmentUnderstanding of relational databases such as MS SQL ServerExperience with non-relational databases like MongoDB is a plusFamiliarity with Agile processPassion for learning new technologiesExperience with IaaS & PaaS from a cloud vendor is a plus. Azure preferred.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
