About ReleaseOwl:ReleaseOwl is a native SAP DevOps Platform with a mission to help companies accelerate SAP adoption, release faster with lower risk, and achieve higher reliability. Using ReleaseOwl, SAP customers can implement CI/CD and DevOps for ECC, S/4HANA On-Premise, S/4HANA Cloud, and CPI environments.About the roleThe developer will work on the ReleaseOwl SAP native DevOps and release automation product. You will build SAP UI5 and Fiori based product screens that consume OData from SAP or BTP and align to our product UI guidelines.Key responsibilitiesDesign and develop SAP UI5 or Fiori applications for ReleaseOwl product modulesConsume OData and REST services coming from SAP S4HANA, ECC or SAP BTPWork closely with ABAP and integration teams to deliver end to end featuresBuild reusable UI components and follow naming, folder and security guidelinesEnsure responsiveness and browser compatibility for all product screensFix UI issues reported from customer implementations and partnersParticipate in code reviews, GIT commits and versioned product releasesPrepare technical documentation for the screens you buildRequired skillsStrong JavaScript skills and strong understanding of the SAP UI5 frameworkStrong in custom control creation in UI5Good knowledge of SAP Fiori concepts, FLP, tiles, catalogs, groups and rolesGood working knowledge of HTML5 and CSSExperience in consuming OData services in UI5Understanding of authentication and role based access in SAPGood to have: experience in SAP BTP or cloud foundry, experience with GIT, basic knowledge of SAP backend objects, experience working in a product teamGood communication skills and ability to work with product and presales teams
