Job Description
Required Skills:
Ability to understand and appreciate underlying network connectivity solutions and ability to work with various stakeholders, to be able to try out holistic solutions for hybrid multi-cloud (GCP, Azure)
Hands-on experience with Implementing Cloud Architectures, Performing Cloud Migrations, and Developing Cloud-Native services, with strong focus on hybrid cloud model
Strong understanding of Clouds like GCP or Azure, with hands-on experience of at least 2 full implementation projects over the last 4 years
Certified Cloud Ops Admin – Trained on IaaS & PaaS, and expert at Hybrid Cloud Deployment Model
Experience in building entire Cloud environments from scratch as per design and implementing all the policies as expected; Scripting of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or cloud-native tools (GCP CDM, ARM)
Good understanding of various Design Patterns and their implementation
A good understanding of Containerization, Microservices
The candidate needs to be a self-starter, and capable of delivering strong results with minimal supervision
He or she needs to have good communication skills
Responsibilities
Understand the technical and non-functional needs of products and applications
Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure and services that meet the needs of the project. This includes Cloud Foundational Services, including setting up of Guardrails
Monitor the performance of cloud-based environments and ensure high availability
Troubleshoot cloud-related incidents and provide fixes / workarounds in a timely manner
Implement security measures like encryption and access controls as per the required security posture, with guidance from the Cloud CoE and Group Security teams; Integrate Cloud environments with Active Directory
Design and implement Hybrid Cloud Connectivity Solutions working alongside architects and product vendors
